Our aims at Seashells Day Nursery are:

 

Provide high quality care and education for children primarily below statutory school age;
 

Work in partnership with parents to help children to learn and develop;

 

Add to the life and well-being of its local community; and

  Offer children and their parents a service which promotes equality and values diversity.

As a member of Seashells Day Nursery your child: 

 

Is in a safe and stimulating environment;

 

Is given generous care and attention, because of our high ratio of adults to children;

 

Has the chance to join with other children and adults to live, play, work and learn together;

 

Is helped to take forward his/her learning and development by being helped to build on what she/he already knows and can do;

 

Has a personal key person who makes sure your child makes satisfying progress;

 

Is in a nursery which sees you as a partner in helping your child learn and develop; and

  Is in a nursery in which parents help to shape the service it offers.

The service offered by Seashells Day Nursery:

 

The nursery is open 52 weeks each year ;
 

We are closed Bank Holidays ;
 

We are open 5 days each week between 7.00am and 6.00pm ;
 

We provide care and education for young children from birth up to 8 years of age ;
 

We are registered for 34 children ;
 

Outdoor Play Area ;
 

Secure Internet Access (View your child from home or work) ;
 

IT introduction lessons including our NEW educational white board and advanced IT resources ;
 

NEW we now have our very own Minibus for weekly educational excursions;
 

ALL dietary needs catered for by our experienced cook on the premises. We DO NOT have food brought in by outside caterers ;

NEW -We have now been selected to offer 15 hours free childcare for 3 - 4 year olds whilst places are available.
